Ausführlicher Leitfaden
Tägliches Tragen und Pflege
The notes below are an Angelo Lens summary of widely accepted soft-lens safety practices. Your package insert and eye-care professional always come first.
Hands and workspace
- Wash your hands with soap and dry with a lint-free towel before touching lenses.
- Work over a clean, flat surface; close the sink drain so a dropped lens is easier to find.
- Keep fingernails from scratching the lens surface.
Orientation and inspection
- Before insertion, check for tears, debris, or damage; do not wear a doubtful lens.
- Correct orientation looks like a smooth bowl. Flared edges usually mean the lens is inside out.
- Use the same order every time (for example right lens first) to avoid mixing pairs.
Solution use
- Use only the care system recommended by your eye-care professional or product labeling.
- Never use tap water, saliva, homemade saline, or refilled bottles of unknown origin.
- Do not top off old solution; empty the case and refill with fresh solution each time.
- Saline alone does not disinfect; use it for rinsing within a complete care regimen.
- With hydrogen peroxide systems, wait until neutralization is complete before wearing.
Lens case hygiene
- After inserting lenses, empty the case, rinse with solution, and air-dry open.
- Clean lids and wells regularly; discard cracked or worn cases.
- Replace the case about every 1–3 months.
- If lenses sit unused, renew the solution; follow the 7-day reminder on the box and the solution label.
Daily habits
- Do not exceed the recommended wear schedule; remove lenses before sleep.
- Avoid showering, swimming, or hot tubs while wearing lenses; water is not a lens disinfectant.
- Insert lenses before makeup and remove them before makeup removal when possible.
- Ask whether eye drops are lens-compatible; unsuitable drops can irritate.
- Never share lenses; each pair belongs to one wearer only.
When to stop and seek help
- Remove lenses immediately if you have severe redness, pain, burning, light sensitivity, sudden blur, or discharge.
- If symptoms do not settle quickly, contact an eye-care professional; infections can become serious.
- Do not force a lens that feels wrong; remove it, clean and rinse, or replace it.
